YOKOHAMA: Infiniti is set to debut its Vision Qe concept, providing a glimpse into its first all-electric model.
The concept from Nissan's luxury arm will be revealed on Oct 24, alongside the announcement of several new models, as part of its product rejuvenation and brand refresh.
The Vision Qe concept features a sleek four-door coupe design with a stretched roof and rear glass that flows into the rear fascia. It showcases Infiniti's updated visual identity, including a redesigned word mark.
Under Nissan's Ambition 2030 strategy, the goal is to have 19 new EVs and 27 new electrified models by 2030. Infiniti expects electrified vehicles to make up nearly 98% of its European sales by 2026 and aims for 40% of its US sales to be electrified by the end of the decade.
Infiniti's EVs will likely be built on one of the five platforms shared by the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance, which plans to launch 35 EVs in the future as well as cut battery prices by 65% by 2028.
