TORONTO: Armoured vehicle maker INKAS Armored has introduced the armored Toyota Land Cruiser 250 hybrid SUV, available exclusively in North America.
In a statement, INKAS Armored said, "This hybrid SUV is for those who need both high-level protection and eco-conscious performance."
INKAS Armored provides security options for private citizens, commercial clients, and government agencies.
The company offers an extensive selection of armoured cars built to resist contemporary dangers, including gun violence, abduction, and carjacking.
For customers outside North America, INKAS Armored also offers the armoured petrol/diesel-powered Land Cruiser Prado.
Both the Land Cruiser 250 and Land Cruiser Prado feature industry-leading ballistic armour and security reinforcements, including:
> Ballistic steel plating for protection against gunfire and explosive threats.
> Multi-layered bullet-resistant glass for durability and clear visibility.
> Reinforced doors, roof, and underbody shielding to withstand high-impact situations.
> Runflat systems within the tyre for continued driving in the event of a punctured or absent tyre.
The Land Cruiser 250’s hybrid petrol-electric system offers enhanced fuel efficiency, making it ideal for long-distance travel with fewer refueling stops — a significant advantage in security-sensitive scenarios.
The Land Cruiser Prado relies on a traditional petrol/diesel engine, offering rugged reliability with reliable power but with higher fuel consumption.
