SUBANG JAYA: The limited edition Isuzu D-Max Beast pick-up truck is offered with a 4x4 automatic transmission, and either 2.5-litre or 3.0-litre engines.
Limited to 360 units, it is priced on the road without insurance at RM116,040 (2.5L) and RM123,835 (3.0L).
The Isuzu D-Max is sold in either Magnum White Solid or Titan Silver Metallic. Up front, a dark grey grille and bonnet garnish replace the usual chrome-finished parts. A matte black bumper guard with a silver accent plate have been added to give the front a more rugged character. LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) come as standard.
The wheel arches are accentuated by matte black surrounds, highlighting the exclusively-designed 17- inch matte black alloy rims mounted with 255/65 tyres. The door handles, roof rails, door mirrors and side steps are all finished in black and these, together with an exclusive body decal offer a contrast to the Beast's body colour.
The Beast also comes with a Claw Bar with a lockable lid, a stylish aero spoiler and a bed liner. A black tailgate handle, bumper and rear combination lamp guard, together with an exclusive Beast decal and number plate casing complete the stylish outlook of the limited edition pick-up.
Inside, the seats are cloaked in premium Italian leather and finished in a two-tone shade, with the Beast logo stitched into the seat backs. The carpet mats too have exclusive stitching while the stainless steel kick panels are illuminated with LED Isuzu logos when doors are opened.
The interior trim has a darker shade of grey, to provide a more premium feel. The audio system now features a Kenwood multimedia player with a 6.2-inch touch screen, complete with a reverse camera. A powerful Bongiovi digital power amplifier provides the added punch through the six-speaker surround sound system.
"Its expressive outlook, together with its contrasting colour scheme creates a bold and individualistic look that will tun heads wherever it goes," said Isuzu M Matsuoka.
