It is the most aerodynamic and powerful Jaguar road car, with a clear lineage to the great Jaguars of the past including the E-type and XJS.
Beneath Type 01’s clean surfaces is a bespoke Jaguar Electric Architecture.
Tri-motor technology with Intelligent Torque Vectoring puts the power precisely where it’s needed, with up to 757kW (1,030PS) and 1,365Nm of torque, achieving 0-100kph from 3.2 seconds.
The tri-motor set-up consists of a 260kW front and twin 310kW rear motors.
Integrated Traction Management and fast-switching silicon carbide inverters respond in one millisecond.
It can go from 100kph to 180kph in 4.0 seconds.

The Type 01 is 5,235mm long, yet has the wall-to-wall turning circle (11.5m) and low-speed manoeuvrability of a compact family car.
All-Wheel Steer is the enabler, turning the rear axle up to six degrees, out-of-phase or in-phase with the front wheels, for effortless urban driving and instinctive responses and secure handling at higher speeds.

Clients can choose from gloss colours or satin finishes that accentuate the monolithic quality of Type 01. The exterior Fender Ingot showcases the famous leaper, crafted with precision.
Inside, a central spine runs the length of the cabin to create individual spaces for each occupant.
It is mirrored on each side by brass-inspired elements that run from front to back, defining the longitudinal nature of the interior.
The Interactive Driver Display – a 24-inch single glass OLED screen – places absolute control directly ahead of the driver, providing exceptional clarity and operating the intuitive new Jaguar Infotainment.
An additional smartphone-style seven-inch display between the driver and front passenger places the most common key controls within instinctive easy reach.
Immersive audio creates a wall of sound using a full-width, full-range, automotive-first Panoramic Soundbar with Sensory Audio seats.

At the world premiere of Type 01 at STORIED in New York, Jaguar announced acclaimed actor Florence Pugh as the inaugural brand ambassador for its new era.
Designed, developed and crafted in the UK, Type 01 is the first production Jaguar created on Jaguar Electric Architecture (JEA), a dedicated platform enabling an entirely new approach to design, proportions and occupant experience.
Its name references both Jaguar's legendary lineage and its all-electric future: "Type" nods to iconic predecessors, "0" signifies zero tailpipe emissions and "1" marks the first of a new generation.
