PETALING JAYA: The Jetour Malaysia Club under the Chinese automaker's Travel+ philosophy was recently launched at its first-ever owner event in the country, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s local growth.
Jetour Malaysia CEO Fu Yong said, "This inaugural owner event reflects how we are bringing our Travel+ strategy to life and our commitment to elevating the ownership journey in Malaysia. We believe that customer engagement does not end at the point of purchase."
"Through the Jetour Malaysia Club, educational initiatives such as our Jetour 101 Car Clinic, and the continued expansion of our support network, we are cultivating a connected and confident owner community while strengthening our aftersales foundation,” he added.
The event saw Jetour Dashing and VT9 owners turning up in strong numbers for a convoy drive from Bamboo Hills, Kuala Lumpur to Resorts World Awana, Genting.
The initiative underscores the brand’s focus on shared journeys, lifestyle mobility and building a connected owner community.
Jetour Malaysia Club serves as a dedicated platform for owners to connect, exchange insights and participate in future brand activities.
A key highlight of the event was a preview drive of the upcoming Jetour T2.
Participants experienced the SUV (sport utility vehicle) in real world driving conditions in Genting.
Complementing the on-road experience was a hands-on Jetour 101 Car Clinic.
The interactive workshop covered maintenance fundamentals including interpreting instrument cluster warning indicators, checking engine oil levels, monitoring brake fluid and coolant levels, and assessing tyre condition.
Combining technical briefings with live demonstrations, the session reinforced Jetour’s emphasis on informed and responsible ownership.
Jetour Malaysia's retail and service network has 31 authorised sales and service centres, including Sabah and Sarawak.
These include 1S, 2S, 3S and 4S dealerships covering sales, service, spare parts, and body and paint facilities.
Jetour vehicles are also supported by a warranty programme including a 10-year or one million km engine warranty, a seven-year or 150,000km vehicle warranty, and five complimentary services covering labour and parts.
