SERDANG: Jetour Malaysia has expanded its lineup with the seven-seater VT9 sports utility vehicle (SUV).
The VT9 now joins its Dashing sibling in showrooms and comes in two variants of Comfort priced at RM118,800 and Prime at RM123,800.
Powering the SUV is a 1.5-litre turbo engine delivering 156PS and 230Nm of torque paired to a six-speed dual clutch automatic transmission.
Equipment include automatic LED headlights, sporty red exterior trim, 19-inch alloys, perforated leather seats, ambient lighting and a a 50W wireless charger.
The range-topping Prime adds on a panoramic sunroof, a six-speaker sound system, memory seats and an auto dimming rear mirror.
A full suite of safety systems have also been included such as Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Change Warning, and Door Opening Warning.
For colour options, there are Star Black, Khaki White, Phantom Grey, Tech Grey and Aurora Green.
As standard, both variants come with the signature Jetour X-Face while LEDs are used to flank the grille along with twin tail pipes to crank up the sporty feel.
The headlights are coupled with daytime runners that are inspired by Chinese lanterns.
Within the seven-seater cabin, the second and third row seats are foldable for added practicality and offer up to 1,680 litres of space.
For a premium touch, the D-shaped steering wheel has been wrapped in leather while aluminium accents and perforated seats further elevate the experience.
At the dashboard is a dual 10.25-inch LCD infotainment screen with voice control and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Additional kit includes a 64-inch wide-angle panoramic sunroof, power tailgate and a CN95 air filter system.
