Johor toll plaza shutters after worker infected by Covid-19
By THE STAR | 02 December 2020JOHOR BARU: PLUS Malaysia Bhd has confirmed that an employee at its Sedenak toll plaza in Johor tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday.
It said the toll plaza was closed six hours today for sanitisation.
The employee, a customer service assistant, is being treated at a hospital.
PLUS also said it has conducted contact tracing and instructed all operation and maintenance staff who have had close contact with the patient to undergo medical check-ups.
The highway concessionaire had advised those from Sedenak and its surrounding areas to use the Simpang Renggam or Kulai toll plazas to enter the PLUS highway towards Kuala Lumpur and Johor Baru during the closure.
Motorists from Kuala Lumpur heading south towards Sedenak had been told to exit the highway via the Simpang Renggam toll plaza, while those heading north from Johor Baru heading towards Sedenak had to exit at the Kulai toll plaza.
