Join Art of Speed 2023 at MAEPS on July 29 and 30

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's premier Kustom Counter Culture event, Art of Speed 2023, will take place at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) on July 29-30.

Under the theme "Raikan Beza Mu," Art of Speed 2023 (AOS 2023) will offer a plethora of activities for fans and visitors.

International guests from the custom community and media, including popular personalities like Shige Suganuma, Emi Suganuma, "Sunny" Yano & Michi "NATQQ" from MOONEYES, Wild Road Choppers and Cosmic Chopper City from Japan, Cycle Zombies, Geoff from Return of CafÈ Racer and V-Twin Visionary from the US.

Meanwhile, ThunderCircus will feature thrilling stunt shows, a gathering of motorcycle groups, and riders from Malaysia and the region.

The first official Hot Wheels Collector Convention in Southeast Asia will also debut, showcasing diorama displays, a skate school, and a swap and sell event. Notable Hot Wheels designers will be present, and a record-breaking attempt for the largest Hot Wheels formation in Malaysia will take place.

Mattel and Proton Holdings Bhd will collaborate to create the first-ever Hot Wheels Saga, commemorating Hot Wheels' 40th anniversary in Malaysia.

Additionally, children can participate in the Hot Wheels x Proton Kids Design Competition, with the winning design featured on a special edition Proton Saga blister card.

The event will host the Hot Wheels Legends Tour, NEAT Fest displaying modified cars, and Hail Vintage showcasing music-themed vintage collectibles.

Visitors can enjoy an automotive flea market, product launches, a bike test ride zone, and the popular SoundCircus Festival (SCF).

The 10 bands lined up for SoundCircus Festival include Superman Is Dead from Bali Indonesia, No Good, Plague of Happiness, MC16, Skudap Skudip, Dum Dum Tak, Krusty, Restraint, Naratu, and Armpunk Sindicate.

One lucky draw winner will receive a fully customized 1979 Toyota Celica with air ride suspension courtesy of Art of Speed Malaysia (AOSM).

Bro Asia, a local e-devices manufacturer, is the title presenter for AOS 2023.

Weekend passes for AOS 2023 can be purchased online or at the venue for RM35, while children below 12 enter for free.

The Speed Lane pass, priced at RM60, grants early access and is valid for both days.

OKU (disabled) pass holders will also enjoy free entry.

Art of Speed will also be giving away a Honda e-DAX motorcycle to one lucky online ticket purchaser, applicable for both AOS and SCF tickets. AOS and SCF tickets can be purchased via the official website www.artofspeedmy.com.
