Hyundai Ioniq 5 N (RM444K) and 6 N (RM450K) launched

KUALA LUMPUR: The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N and 6 N high-performance EVs (electric vehicles) have been launched, and are available on a built-to-order basis.

The official retail prices are RM443,888 (5 N) and RM449,888 (6 N).

Bookings can be made through Hyundai N authorised dealers Sime Darby Auto Hyundai Sdn Bhd (Selangor/Kuala Lumpur), Goh Brothers Motor Sdn Bhd (Penang) and Heng Lian Enterprise Bhd (Kuching).

Hyundai Motor Malaysia managing director Jahabarnisa Haja Mohideen said, "The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N and Ioniq 6 N are testaments that electric performance vehicles can be equally thrilling and more. When customers get behind the wheel, they will know you Never Just Drive with Hyundai N. You enjoy every second of it.”

Hyundai N's performance DNA flows directly from its World Rally Championship (WRC) pedigree, where the same engineering philosophy that wins on gravel and tarmac is channelled into every road car that wears the N badge.

Every N model begins life at the Namyang research and development centre in South Korea, where engineers refine every detail of vehicle dynamics, before being rigorously validated on the legendary 20.8km Nürburgring Nordschleife – the ultimate proving ground for any car that dares to call itself a performance machine.

The Ioniq 5 N produces 650PS with N Grin Boost and dispatches 0–100kph in just 3.4 seconds.

It achieves a top speed of 260kph, all while delivering a practical WLTP range of 448km.

Its 3,000mm wheelbase ensures this is a performance car that never asks you to leave the family behind.

Signature N technologies onboard include N e-Shift (the world's first EV system to simulate the feel of an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission), N Active Sound+ (NAS+), N Drift Optimiser, N Grin Boost (NGB), N Torque Distribution (NTD), and N Launch Control.

Meanwhile, the Ioniq 6 N matches the Ioniq 5 N's 650PS with N Grin Boost, wile achieving 0–100kph in a blistering 3.2 seconds with a top speed of 257kph.
