Mazda CX-60 3.3L MHEV introduced, all-new CX-5 teased


KUALA LUMPUR: Following the successful debut of the 2.5-litre variant last year, Bermaz Motor heeded the call of fans by introducing a more powerful option of the Mazda CX-60 at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show 2026 (KLIMS 2026).

The CX-60 3.3-litre mild hybrid electric (MHEV) variant sports an e-SkyActiv G 3.3-litre inline-6 turbo engine with a 48V battery and an 8-speed automatic transmission (8-EAT) that, in combination, produces 280HP and 450Nm of torque.


Its cockpit features three key displays: the 12.3-inch multi-information cluster, the Active Driving Display and the 12.3-inch infotainment screen.

The Mazda CX-60 3.3L MHEV is offered in two exclusive exterior and interior pairings, Rhodium White with a Pure White interior and Machine Gray with a Tan interior.

The variant continues to carry a 5-star rating from the European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP) where the CX-60 previously achieved in 2022.

Mazda’s advanced i-Activsense technologies is present, incorporating features such as High Beam Assist (HBA), Adaptive LED Headlamps (ALH), Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Front Cross Traffic Alert (FCTA), Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS), Lane Keep Assist System (LAS) with Road Departure Prevention (RDP), Driver Attention Alert (DAA) with Driver Monitoring, Front and Rear Smart Brake Support (SBS), Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC) with Stop & Go and Cruising & Traffic Support (CTS).


Fully imported from Japan as a CBU model, booking is now open at all authorised Mazda dealerships nationwide with prices starting from RM250,000.

Price includes a 5-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty and 5-Year Free Maintenance Programme in accordance with Mazda’s manufacturer standards. This includes all required maintenance, labour, parts, and lubricants. Both the warranty and maintenance coverage are valid for five years or 100,000km, whichever comes first.


Accompanying the CX-60's announcement is the showcase tease of the 2026 CX-5 that sports new proportions and extended wheelbase.

More details will only be finalised at the time of its launch. For now though booking for it begins on June 12 at all authorised Mazda showrooms nationwide.
