KUALA LUMPUR: Perodua surprised everyone with the preview of its next electric vehicle (EV) phase with the unveiling of the C2 concept at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show 2026 (KLIMS 2026).
Named as 'Chapter 2' or C2 for short, the concept represents an entirely different styling direction commonly associated with Perodua by incorporating the latest technology while being inspired by Malaysia’s new generation of Alpha and Beta.
Essentially it is a new phase of Perodua’s design language that is distinct from the car company’s earlier EM-O concept.

According to Perodua the C2 is the embodied vision of the young and talented designers of what the future of EV would look like.
The B-segment prototype will have AI driving assist features such as real-time navigation, charging station locations, traffic updates, enhanced anti-theft features and assisted parking.
“The C2 is part of our ongoing EV storyline. It expands our narrative of made by Malaysians for the world as we improve the future of mobility experience for our customers,” explained Perodua president and chief executive officer Datuk Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad.

“We have greatly integrated our P-Circle super app into this prototype so that our customers can access a world of convenience – from a secure e-wallet app to priority genuine parts delivery – the C2 represents the future in mobility integration.
“The C2 will be our basis for our future EV, and we are looking forward to engaging with visitors to our booth on their views and comments to ensure that our future product will exceed our customers’ expectations.
“We welcome all to visit Perodua’s booth at the KLIMS 2026 and engage with multiple attractions provided by the national car company, which include interactive robots, drones as well as a full display of P-Circle and its offerings,” Zainal added.
