KUALA LUMPUR: Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional Sdn Bhd (Modenas), a member of the DRB-Hicom Group, has launched the Kymco Xciting VS 400 with a recommended retail price of RM27,988, excluding registration and insurance.
Showcased at the Malaysia Bike Show in May, the Xciting VS 400 is powered by a 400cc, liquid-cooled, four-valve single-cylinder engine producing 24.9kW and 37.5Nm of torque.
Power is transmitted through an automatic continuously variable transmission (CVT).
The scooter is fitted with traction control, front and rear ABS, a five-level adjustable windscreen, keyless operation, a two-stage seat and five-step rear suspension preload adjustment.
The storage capacity is 29 litres, with illumination provided in the underseat compartment.
The scooter is available in Flat Black and Cerulean Blue, and comes with a two-year or 20,000km warranty, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
