KUALA LUMPUR: The Jaecoo J5 and J7 PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) "Art Cars"’, comprising two J5 units and one J7 PHEV — were among the highlights at LahLahLand 2025.
Omoda Jaecoo Malaysia was the Official Auto Partner of LahLahLand 2025 — debuting three striking “Art Cars” at the multifaceted lifestyle festival celebrating streetwear, entertainment, and contemporary urban expression.
Held on Nov 1 - 2, 2025 at the Mines International Exhibition and Convention Centre (MIECC), LahLahLand 2025 delivered an exciting and immersive experience featuring exclusive collaborations, product launches, influencer pre-loved markets, panel talks, esports tournaments, concerts, and more.

Chery Corporate Malaysia executive vice president Men Lin Bo said, “Omoda Jaecoo’s collaboration with LahLahLand was a celebration of individuality and movement. Both brands share a belief in creative self-expression and forward momentum — values that resonate with a new generation of users across Malaysia who see mobility not just as transportation, but as part of their lifestyle identity.”
LahLahLand founder Bryan Chin added, “LahLahLand thrives on creativity and self-expression, and that’s exactly what the Omoda Jaecoo partnership represents. The Omoda Jaecoo brand goes beyond just vehicles — it’s a statement of style, capability, and youthful individuality that speaks to our crowd.”
The Jaecoo J5 and J7 PHEV "Art Cars" were each uniquely wrapped to reflect the dynamic themes of LahLahLand 2025.
Every design was carefully approved to ensure the premium SUVs (sport utility vehicles) fit seamlessly within the festival’s creative direction.

Alongside the showcase, Omoda Jaecoo hosted a “Spin the Wheel” game that kept the weekend lively, giving visitors a chance to take home customised branded merchandise.
The Jaecoo J5 premium compact SUV is due for an official launch in the first quarter of 2026.
At its heart lies a 1.5-litre turbocharged intercooled (TCI) engine that develops 147PS and 210Nm of torque, paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) automatic transmission driving the front wheels.
Inside, the Jaecoo J5 offers a driver-focused cockpit with a crisp digital instrument cluster and 13.2-inch "2K" central infotainment touchscreen.
The model also features a suite of Level 2 Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) — including Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Adaptive Cruise Control, and Lane Keep Assist.
The Jaecoo J5 is open for booking, with an estimated starting price of RM120,000.
