Lamborghini and Carbon Champagne team up

BOLOGNA: Automobili Lamborghini and Champagne Carbon recently toasted their new partnership at the Italian super sports car brand’s Sant’Agata Bolognese factory.

Carbon Champagne was created in 2011 by Carbon CEO Alexandre Mea, a fifth-generation heir to his Devavry family Champagne house established in 1920.

His low volume, exclusive Champagne is produced using hand-processed Grand Cru and Premier Cru fruit from the family vineyard, stored in oak barrels for a depth and character of flavour, then bottled in the Carbon-crafted bottles.

The carbon wrap of the bottles is made from a 37-step process, applied in various carbon and coloured finishes, and thus protecting the Champagne from light and preserving its taste.

The ultra-premium wine, crafted in time-honoured traditions, juxtaposes with the high-tech innovation of the carbon fibre bottles. Champagne Carbon will be a partner supporting motorsports events as well as lifestyle celebrations.

Present to sign the deal were Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann and Champagne Carbon CEO Alexandre Mea. Bugatti has a similar tie-up with the French wine producer.
