Lamborghini Huracan STO debuts in Malaysia

PETALING JAYA: Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur today held a track day-cum-launch of the Huracan STO at the Sepang International Circuit.

CarSifu was given the chance to drive the track-inspired supercar in Sepang earlier today. The first impressions drive will be published in print and online on June 16.

The June 7-8 driving event saw selected Malaysian and Singaporean customers as well as members of the media get behind the wheel of the latest Huracan to hit town. The three units are on an Asian tour, with the first stop being Malaysia before they head to Bangkok, Thailand.

With its 5.2-litre V10 naturally aspirated 640 hp (470 kW) power plant producing 565 Nm at 6,500 rpm, the rear-wheel-drive Huracan STO delivers a 0-100kph sprint time of 3s and a 0-200kph time of 9s. It has a top speed of 310kph.

Base price starts from RM1.48mil (before tax and options).

"The Huracan STO is designed for purpose and optimised for track use, and we are excited to be able to demonstrate the Huracan STO's track capabilities here in Sepang."
