SANT'AGATA BOLOGNESE: Automobili Lamborghini is taking its sports utility vehicle (SUV) to its peak in delivery.
Topping everything from previous variants the Urus SE Performante pushes the execution of performance when paired to a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain.
At the heart is a proven 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine in synergy with a permanent-magnet electric motor, a “dual-heart” architecture that delivers a combined output of 812CV (596 kW) at 6,000rpm and a maximum torque of 1000Nm available between 2,000 and 5,500rpm right from the first gear.
This represents an increase of 146PS and 150Nm over the previous Urus Performante.

Strategically positioned upstream of the gearbox the synchronous electric motor acts as a boost to enhance the V8’s performance and allows the vehicle to travel in full-electric mode for over 60km.
Energy is then supplied by a 25.9 kWh lithium-ion battery housed beneath the load floor to optimize the center of gravity.
The vehicle features a sophisticated all-wheel-drive system with an electronically controlled central clutch and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The performance figures resulting from this mechanical and electronic synergy allows it to accelerate from 0-100kph in just 3.3 seconds and reach 200kph in only 10.8 seconds. The vehicle is capable of achieving a top speed of 312kph.

Physically the Urus SE Performante's body is covered in carbon-fiber elements and comes with a new hood, front and rear bumpers, 23-inch Y-spoke design wheels, and a new titanium exhaust system developed by Lamborghini in collaboration with Akrapovič.
The vehicle also introduces the AURA dual-chamber air suspension system to the Urus range.
This not only halves body roll during fast driving but also reduces vibrations by 25% compared to the previous generation of Urus Performante. In turn this significantly increases comfort.
Rally driving mode is also introduced which is specifically calibrated to deliver maximum driving excitement on loose surfaces, The mode joins the standard Strada, Sport, and Corsa modes, as well as EV mode for fully electric driving.
The larger and more defined front air intakes also respond to increased cooling demands.
One of the most significant achievements is the 3% reduction in aerodynamic drag compared to the Urus SE while matching the drag values of the previous Urus Performante. There's also a 16% increase in aerodynamic downforce compared to the previous Perfomante and of 23% compared to the Urus SE.

Its individual axles delivers a 22% increase in front downforce while maintaining the same rear load when compared to the previous Urus Performante.
Inside the SUV are dedicated livery and graphic treatment with distinctive Y-shaped motifs and contrasting red details, use of sustainable materials such as CorsaTex by Dinamica microfiber, a new 12.3-inch central touchscreen display that features an even more intuitive Human Machine Interface (HMI) with updated graphics inspired by Revuelto, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a new exclusive steering wheel.
The Urus SE Performante is not yet offered for sale while fuel consumption and emissions data is in the type approval stage. Colour highlights includes the new Giallo Crius and Verde Hydra matt.
