Lambretta X250 and G350 unveiled publicly at last
By A. NACHI | 29 July 2024SERDANG: The popular Italian scooter brand, Lambretta had a soft launch in June, teasing the Malaysian public with glimpses of their all-new models.
It wasn’t until last week's Art of Speed 2024 event that enthusiasts finally got to experience the Lambretta X250 and G350 firsthand.
The X Series features sporty, streamlined shapes, inspired to recall the typical stylistic features of the legendary Lambretta of the past.
Meanwhile, the G350 has a stronger influence of the Lambretta classic design.
Both designs strike a balance between classic and innovation.
The X250, priced at RM22,800 (registration and insurance not included), features a 244.2cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine delivering 22.8hp at 8,500 rpm and 22Nm at 6,500rpm.
The X250 enhanced by a well-designed full LED lighting system along with a seven-litre fuel tank, double-pulled wheel swingarm front suspension and disc brakes with ABS.
Meanwhile, the G350 which is priced at RM29,800 (registration and insurance not included), boasts a 330cc engine producing 26.5hp at 7,500rpm and 25.3Nm at 6,750rpm.
The G350 features a traditional hexagonal full LED lighting system, a nine-litre fuel tank, disc brakes with ABS and a similar suspension system to the X250, ensuring both comfort and performance.
The Lambretta received thumbs up at the event, marking the Italian scooters successful return to the spotlight with a perfect blend of nostalgia and modern engineering.
