Latest CKD iCaur V23 maintains specs, quality and pricing with imported units

KUALA LUMPUR: iCaur Malaysia's first locally assembled (CKD) all-electric V23 off-roader will arrive at authorised dealer showrooms later this month.

The latest V23 Intelligent Wheel Drive (iWD) retains the specifications and quality of the fully imported Completely Built-Up (CBU) version while keeping its pricing unchanged at RM132,780.

The move builds on iCaur’s growing market momentum after emerging as one of the Top 3 brands in Malaysia’s battery electric vehicle (BEV) segment in the first half of the year.

Production of the V23 CKD officially commenced in July, marking an important step in the company’s long-term commitment to the local market.

The CKD roll-out enables the brand to strengthen supply confidence and expand its presence more strategically, while continuing to offer Malaysian buyers a distinctive EV that delivers character, confidence and everyday practicality.

iCaur Malaysia senior director Francis Chin said CKD is a market commitment from the company and not just a production milestone.

"The V23 has shown that Malaysian buyers are ready for EVs with personality, and local assembly allows us to respond to that demand with greater agility, stronger supply confidence and a product that remains accessible without losing its character," Chin said.

The V23 continues to stand out with its signature Boxy Retro Classic styling, combining rugged character with modern EV appeal.

Interested customers and EV enthusiasts are invited to visit their nearest iCAUR showroom by the end of July to view the V23 CKD up close and book a test drive.
