PUCHONG: Malaysian's used vehicle sales platform, myTukar, has been rebranded to Carro Malaysia.

The effort is to help its parent company, the Singapore-based Carro, streamline its branding.

Touted to be one of Malaysia's fastest-growing used car ecosystem, the exercise is said to take place over the next several months.

This will see "Carro" be incorporated across myTukar's range of products and services including marketing materials and physical signages throughout the nation.

Carro claims to be South-East Asia's largest and most profitable online used car platform.

The company currently operates in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, and Taiwan.

The Singapore startup is said to be on track to achieve an all-time best earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation of US$40mil (RM187.3mil) for FY2024.

"myTukar's renaming exercise marks a huge milestone in our brand integration, and we're absolutely excited to hit the rest of our goals on our roadmap," said Carro co-founder and group CEO Aaron Tan at the Carro retail experience centre in Puchong.

Tan added the company is a profitable group that's ready to be listed.

In conjunction with the rebranding, the company also took the opportunity to introduce its new ambassador, influencer Chan Phei Yong.
