SHANGHAI: The Leapmotor B01 all-electric sedan had made its world premiere at Auto Shanghai 2025.
Built on Leapmotor’s LEAP3.5 technology architecture, the B01 sedan has a fluid fastback design and range is estimated to be from 500km to 600km.
At the auto show, the entire Leapmotor product line-up (pure electric + range-extended electric vehicles) was on display with the B and C series as the highlights.
In a statement, Leapmotor says the new B-Series, as part of its global strategy, focuses on the world’s largest segment, covering multiple products including SUVs and sedans.
By the end of 2025, three models - B10, B05, and B01 – will be on sale globally.
The new B-Series will adopt the highly advanced and fully integrated LEAP3.5 technology architecture, featuring intelligence, entertainment, quality, and user-based design.
It is said to offer the best cockpit experience in its class, end-to-end high-level smart driving with over 600km (CLTC) of pure electric range.
Meanwhile, in early April, Leapmotor had released the first model in new B-Series, the Leapmotor B10 SUV (sport utility vehicle).
Within 48 hours of the B10’s pre-sale launch, orders exceeded 31,688 units.
On the day of its launch, over 10,016 units were booked.
The B10 offers a best-in-class chipset with the Qualcomm 8155, a 510km range at entry-level and 600km range in high-end battery versions (CLTC), and advanced active safety with a million-level tyre blowout stability control function.
The high-end B10 model is equipped with laser radar and dual Qualcomm flagship chips with software upgrades available via over-the-air (OTA).
