SYDNEY: Following the introduction of the fully electric Leapmotor B10, the all-new B10 Hybrid EV (electric vehicle) expands the range in Australia.
The B10 Hybrid EV uses a electric-first hybrid system.
The electric motor always drives the wheels, while the 1.5-litre petrol engine is used exclusively as a generator to produce electricity and recharge the battery when required.
The system produces 160kW (218PS) and 240Nm of torque, achieving 0–100kph in 7.5 seconds and a top speed of 170kph.
The 18.8kWh LFP battery provides up to 84km of electric driving range (WLTP) and a combined fuel economy of just 0.9 litre per 100km (WLTP).
A 50-litre fuel tank extends the total driving range up to 900km (WLTP).

Charging capability includes 6.6kW AC and DC fast charging up to 46kW, enabling a 30% – 80% recharge in 20 minutes.
There are four adaptive energy modes – EV+, EV, Fuel and Power+.
The B10 Hybrid EV features a customisable smart cockpit interface, comprehensive ADAS suite, and over-the-air updates.
Inside, the cabin remains preserved from the BEV (battery electric vehicle) model, centred around a 14.6-inch floating touchscreen and digital cockpit.
Measuring 4,515mm in length, 1,885mm in width, and 1,665mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,735mm, the B10 Hybrid EV provides a balanced combination of manoeuvrability and interior space.

The LEAP OS 4.0 Plus powered infotainment system provides a familiar digital experience, featuring a customisable interface, immersive 3D cockpit, and remote vehicle functionality via the Leapmotor mobile app.
With rear-wheel drive, multi-link rear suspension, integrated and refined chassis tuning courtesy of the Stellantis Chassis Master Team, the B10 Hybrid EV delivers a composed and comfortable driving experience.
The B10 Hybrid EV is available in Style and Design variants.
The Style offers 18-inch alloy wheels, LED auto headlights, a panoramic glass roof, a 360-degree camera, integrated 360-degree dashcam, and connected services.

The Design builds on this foundation with premium features such as TechnoLeather seats, power-adjustable front seats, a heated steering wheel, and heated and ventilated front seats.
Alongside that a 12-speaker surround audio system, multi-colour ambient lighting, power tailgate, and LED rear light bar are additions of the Design variant.
Design variants also benefit from Hankook iON evo tyres designed to bridge the gap between all-season handling, grip performance, enhanced cornering stability and noise/tread wear.
