SYDNEY: The Leapmotor C10 AWD Sports+ Special Edition high‑performance BEV (battery electric vehicle) is set to arrive in Australia in April.
Leapmotor Australia says it is engineered for drivers who demand exceptional performance and instant electric response.
Power output surges from the standard model’s 160kW (218PS)/320Nm to an outstanding 440kW (598PS)/760Nm, enabling a 0–100kph sprint of just four seconds.
It features Intelligent AWD Control, a dual-motor system that ensures optimal grip and stability on slippery surfaces such as gravel, rain, snow and light off-roading while millisecond‑level adaptive response enables more precise control.
Intelligent front‑rear motor switching automatically alternates between single‑motor and dual‑motor driving depending on road conditions and driving demands.
Complementing this performance is an 800V underpinning and a larger 81.9kWH LFP HV battery allowing an all‑electric range up to 510km NEDC (up to 437km WLTP), along with 180kW DC fast‑charging capability, allowing the battery to go from 30% to 80% in 22 minutes.
The exterior is available exclusively in Pearl White with black Sports+ side decals or Metallic Black with grey Sports+ side decals, complemented by a black-only interior.
The C10 AWD Sports+ Special Edition also features unique Sports+ front and rear cabin mats with red stitching (front embroidered), a Sports+ embroidered cargo mat with red stitching, exclusive Sports+ rear badging, and distinctive side profile decals that set it apart from the broader C10 family.
