KUALA LUMPUR: Leapmotor has rolled out its 2025 model-year enhancements for the C10 electric SUV in Malaysia, offering new convenience features and improved charging performance from RM125,000.
Available at showrooms nationwide from June, the revised C10 now includes a 32-litre front-boot (frunk) and a boot-headcover tonneau, providing additional secure storage for daily use.
Charging efficiency has been significantly increased with the replacement of the previous 6.6 kW on-board charger by an 11kW unit, cutting AC charging time from 30–80 per cent down to just four hours.
Safety and convenience have also been prioritised: all C10 models now feature a Direct Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, which relays real-time tyre-condition data to the driver, and are supplied with a motorised tyre-inflator pump kit for roadside emergencies.
Inside the cabin, new upholstery options accompany the exterior colour palette. Models finished in Pearly White, Canopy Grey or Tundra Grey now sport a sleek Black interior, while the Glazed Green exterior is paired with a distinctive Camel Brown scheme (the previous brown shade was Criollo Brown). All seats continue to use OEKO-Tex Standard 100 baby-friendly silicone textile.
Under the skin, the C10 retains its 69.9kWh lithium-iron phosphate battery and electric motor, tuned to deliver 214hp and up to 424km of WLTP-rated range.
The model’s minimalist styling and interior innovations, recognised by awards such as the International CMF Design and the US Muse Design prizes, remain integral to its appeal.
Leapmotor has also celebrated its rise as China’s fastest-growing new-energy vehicle startup, with 173,658 units sold between January and May 2025.
Priced from RM125,000, the C10 extends D-segment features into the C-segment price bracket and is offered with a comprehensive six-year or 150,000km manufacturer warranty plus an eight-year or 160,000 km battery warranty, whichever comes first. The current price is a big drop from the launch price of RM159,000 in October last year. At the time, a RM10,000 discount was offered for bookings made until November last year.
