BEIJING: Leapmotor has secured the top position in total sales volume among New Energy Vehicle (NEV) start-ups in China for both June 2025 and the first-half of 2025.
In June 2025, Leapmotor delivered 48,006 vehicles, marking a 138% year-over-year increase that sets a new monthly record.
This performance extends a six-month streak of continuous growth, with monthly deliveries rising from 25,170 units in January to 48,006 units in June — representing an impressive 91% increase over the half-year period.
Leapmotor’s first half of 2025 cumulative total volume sales reached 221,664 units, positioning it as the leader among NEV start-ups in China.
Leapmotor’s 2025 success builds on a robust 2024 performance, during which it delivered 293,724 vehicles, effectively doubling its previous year’s volume.
"This sustained momentum has propelled Leapmotor from a top-three contender to a market leader, surpassing major competitors within the industry," said the automaker.
Meanwhile, the enhanced Leapmotor C10 is priced from RM125,000 in Malaysia.
It offers D-segment features at a C-segment entry point.
The improved C10 now features a new 32-litre 'frunk' and a boot tonneau cover for added convenience and cargo security.
The enhanced C10 also receives an uprated 11kW on-board charger (OBC), replacing the 6.6 kW unit, to reduce the 30%-80% charging time from 6 hours to just 4 hours.
Further enhancements include a new Direct Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and a motorised tyre inflator pump kit.
Inside, the C10 boasts an updated upholstery palette.
Models with Pearly White, Canopy Grey, and Tundra Grey exterior colors now feature a new Black interior, replacing the previous Midnight Aurora.
The Glazed Green exterior is exclusively paired with a new Camel Brown interior, replacing Criollo Brown.
All seating materials maintain their premium, OEKO-Tex Standard 100 baby-friendly silicone textile.
The Leapmotor C10 benefits from a comprehensive 6-year or 150,000km warranty, and a 8-year or 160,000km Battery warranty, whichever comes first.
