LONDON: Chery International's Lepas marque has confirmed that its flagship L8 SUV (sport utility vehicle) will go on sale in the UK in the third quarter of 2026.
Lepas’ name combines “Leopard”, “Leap” and “Passion” and can be seen as key pillars for its model line-up and brand aesthetic.
The L8 embodies the marque’s signature design language; with the exterior inspired by the agile contours of a running leopard, and LED headlights designed to look like a leopard’s eye.
Paired with a spacious five-seat cabin, the L8 is built on Chery International’s new energy vehicle (NEV) modular platform.
Its architecture integrates advanced in-cabin features, comprehensive driver assistance systems and engineering designed to meet global five-star safety standards.
