Lexus Malaysia showroom opens in Kota Kinabalu
By CARSIFU | 05 December 2023KOTA KINABALU: Lexus Malaysia has launched the Lexus Kota Kinabalu showroom, marking the Japanese luxury brand's first foray in Sabah and its second-ever centre in East Malaysia.
The new showroom on Mile 5.5, Tuaran Road, is operated by Borneo Mobility Sabah Sdn Bhd and promises a fusion of sophistication, innovation, as well as unrivalled customer service.
This showroom is set to reshape the automotive landscape in Sabah by offering residents in the region access to luxury without the wait.
Until now, car connoisseurs in Sabah have had to purchase their Lexus vehicles from outlets in other regions, with the nearest showroom being in Sarawak.
Lexus Kota Kinabalu sets a new precedent for customers in Sabah, enabling them to enjoy the exclusive Lexus showroom experience and personalised customer services.
Lexus Malaysia president Datuk Ravindran K said the company was thrilled to expand into Sabah, bringing its unique brand of automotive excellence closer to customers in the state and offering them access to luxury right in their backyard.
“Lexus prides itself on offering bespoke customer experiences at all our showrooms, which are tailored around customers’ desires and preferences. With exciting forthcoming Lexus models arriving over the next few years, we’re delighted that our customers in Sabah can now experience these for themselves at Lexus Kota Kinabalu,” he said.
This focus on customer experiences is reflected in the elegance of the showroom’s aesthetics.
The building’s sleek and minimalist facade with clean lines and angles gives way to an opulent and inviting interior.
From batik-inspired flooring to meticulously carved wooden fittings, the showroom harmoniously incorporates elements of traditional design to pay homage to Malaysia’s artistic heritage.
The opening of Lexus Kota Kinabalu also coincides with Lexus’ latest achievement — the newly launched Lexus RX F SPORT Hybrid.
Marrying cutting-edge technology with sustainable automotive design, the Lexus RX F SPORT Hybrid is the first hybrid car in Malaysia to embody the Lexus Global Electrification Vision.
This vision prioritises performance through electrification technologies and a range of electrified vehicle solutions to achieve Lexus’ dedication to becoming an electric brand by 2035.
Sabah residents can also look forward to having a taste of a new Lexus model that is set to launch in 2024.
As is standard practice across all Lexus showrooms, Lexus Kota Kinabalu is a one-stop centre for customers’ every need, promising a seamless ownership journey.
Every Lexus purchase comes with LexusCare, a wide-ranging suite of benefits, including comprehensive roadside assistance, complimentary services, access to exclusive events, and more.
This dedication to customer experiences extends far beyond the initial purchase: Lexus’ 5-year, unlimited mileage warranty grants drivers peace of mind without curbing their freedom to explore.
