A teaser video it recently released shows the vehicle exterior's from different angles and that was all Lexus would reveal.
The RZ would be the third electric car that shares the new e-TNGA platform as the Toyota bZ4X and Subaru Solterra.
Lexus already has the all-electric UX300e but it was based on the ICE version of the UX, which means compromises have to be made in terms of space, equipment and technology.
The RZ features a full-length light bar in keeping with current Lexus design and has a ducktail spoiler for a sporty look.
It will also have dual charging ports above the front wheels like the Porsche Taycan for better charging flexibility.
The RZ will launch by June 2022.
