SHAH ALAM: Edaran Modenas Sdn Bhd (Emos), the subsidiary of Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional Sdn Bhd (Modenas), has introduced the Modenas Ninja 250 Öhlins edition at a recommended retail price of RM20,500.
Limited to 180 units, the Ninja 250 Öhlins edition is based on the non-ABS variant without additional mechanical and cosmetic changes.
The model will be delivered in stages and be available for purchase at all Kawasaki authorised dealer network as per listed on the company’s website.
To optimise the riding performance, Öhlins KA 744, STX 36 Supersport which is a fully adjustable rear mono suspension, is used to keep the bike extremely stable, especially during cornering.
"Even when the rider messes up the throttle or brakes during hard cornering on an uneven terrain, the bike stays planted. Over and above, it will be the one-and-only in its segment," said Modenas chief executive officer Roslan Roskan.
Öhlins is a world leader in advanced suspension technology and this high-end technology derived from motorsports has been introduced into the middle-range bikes to allow riders to have better control of power.
As the suspension system is pre-fitted by Modenas, the model is fully covered under the manufacturer’s warranty of two years or 20,000km (whichever comes first).
