Local Hot Rocket Racing Club unlocks new achievement

SHAH ALAM: Hot Rocket Racing Club has achieved a historial milestone by securing podium finishing in all its go-kart endurance races throughout 2022.

Hot Rocket’s elite team dubbed ‘Rocket Nation’ finished third at the ‘Pinnacle Kart 6-hour Endurance Race’ organised by Kelab Karting Selangor (KKS).

Hot Rocket Team A which is Hot Rocket’s second runner-up team qualified the 12th position due to technical difficulties but climbed up and finished 4th position.

Hot Rocket Team B consists of academy drivers who finished 11th position overall.

Hot Rocket Racing Club's wins in 2022 are:
> Traxion Supercar Owner Go Kart Championship R1 – 1st position
> Traxion Supercar Owner Go Kart Championship R2 – 3st position
> Traxion Supercar Owner Go Kart Championship R3 – 2st position
> Kart Hauz 4-hour Endurance Race – 1st position
> Pinnacle Kart 6-hour Endurance Race – 3rd position

The go-kart racing club which has 500 registered members and over 1,600 followers on social media, now aims aims to double their member count and participate in international go-kart endurances races as the new year’s resolution.

The club said its success comes from its driver development programme that selects drivers with exceptional skill from the community and develops them into race winning drivers.

‘Rocket Nation’ is Hot Rocket’s elite team that consists of the community’s top drivers, while Hot Rocket Team A are the second runner-up and substitute drivers for the elite team, much like Red Bull and Alpha Tauri.

Hot Rocket Team B is the club’s training ground for both up and coming drivers and race team managers in training.

After every race, the seats for each team are refreshed and open to the rest of the community to ensure each driver retains their competitive edge.
