KUALA LUMPUR: The locally assembled MG ZS is due to be launched at end-October, and will be offered in two variants, namely the 1.5 Turbo and Hybrid+.
Estimated prices are RM105,000 (Turbo variant) and RM115,000 (Hybrid+) excluding insurance.
The first 1,000 customers to book can enjoy exclusive benefits worth RM3,000, and five years of free maintenance.

The MG ZS urban SUV (sport utility vehicle) combines sleek, sporty styling with everyday practicality.
Its exterior features a bold front fascia with Connected Hunter Eyes headlights, black grille accents, aerodynamic sculpting, rear LED taillights, a smooth rear spoiler and contemporary alloy wheels.
As the largest B-segment SUV in its class, measuring 4,430mm in length and 1,818mm in width, the MG ZS offers an open and ergonomic cabin layout with premium materials.
The vehicle also provides 443 litres of boot space, expandable to 1,457 litres with the rear seats folded down, offering one of the most spacious cabins in its segment.
Inside, the cockpit is equipped with a panoramic sunroof, a 12.3-inch floating infotainment display and a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster.
The MG ZS 1.5 Turbo is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine delivering a maximum power output of 170PS (125kW) and 275Nm of torque.
It features a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and front-wheel drive, a 55-litre fuel tank, and delivers a combined fuel consumption of 6.9 litres per 100km.
Meanwhile, powering the MG ZS Hybrid+ is a 1.83kWh high-capacity NCM battery, paired with a 100kW electric motor and a high-efficiency 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine, delivering a combined maximum power output of 215PS (158kW) and 465Nm of torque.
Paired with an advanced three-speed Hybrid Transmission, the MG ZS Hybrid+ delivers a smooth and dynamic driving experience.
The intelligent hybrid system also enables EV (electric vehicle) mode driving at speeds of up to 80kph.
Capable of accelerating from 0–100kph in 8.7 seconds, it delivers very efficient fuel consumption of just 4.7 litres per 100km and a driving range of up to 870km on a full 41-litre fuel tank.
All MG vehicles are equipped with MG Pilot Driver Safety Technology and a suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) 2.5 features, including the Intelligent Cruise Assist (ICA) and Driver Fatigue Monitoring System (DFMS).
Paired with MG iSmart, MG ZS owners can remotely access and control key vehicle functions directly from their smartphones, including keyless entry functionality.
The MG ZS is available in four exterior colours – Flare Red, Silver, Andes Grey and York White – paired with a premium all-black interior featuring perforated leatherette seats.
