Lotus springs an Evora 400 Hethel Edition
LONDON: Lotus Cars, celebrating the 50th anniversary of its Hethel factory, has launched a new limited edition of its Lotus Evora 400 sports car.
The Hethel Edition is part of the Evora 400 line, a model that was launched last year. The Evora 400 is the British manufacturer's fastest car, with a maximum speed of 300kph and acceleration from 0-100kph in 4.2 seconds.
The Hethel Edition comes in "exclusive heritage" tones of blue, black and green, with the choice of black or red leather, or Alcantara (a material often used in Formula One cars) for the interior trim.
Lotus set up the factory in 1966 in a former Royal Air Force station in Hethel, a village near Norfolk in eastern England.
Lotus's suggested retail price is just over €100,000 (RM459,000).
