MANILA: Lynk & Co, the electric car company owned by China's Geely, has made its debut in the Philippines, launching a lineup of models namely the 01, 05, and 06.
The showcased Lynk & Co 03+ also made its first appearance in the country.
United Asia Automotive Group, Inc, a seasoned player in the Philippine automotive industry, is the official distributor.
Lynk & Co overseas division vice president Jinjun Tian hinted that more models tailored to Filipino taste could arrive in future.
The launch took place at the Manila International Auto Show (April 4-7 ), showcasing models including the 01, 05, 06, and the Lynk & Co 03+.

The Lynk & Co 06, a B-Segment SUV making its international debut, boasts eye-catching aesthetics and impressive performance features. The booth at the auto show, inspired by metropolitan evenings, showcased the brand's Mega-city Contrast concept through interactive installations.
The first Lynk & Co showroom in the Philippines is set to open here, with plans for eight showrooms nationwide by the year's end.
The dealer network would be supported by a comprehensive after-sales service system, said Lynk & Co.
The entry into the Philippine market is part of a broader plan by Lynk & Co. to tap into the EV growth in Southeast Asia.
