KUALA LUMPUR: A Malaysian start-up in the automotive aftermarket industry, Forcar, says it has recently secured funding to continue its momentum and growth.

It did not specify how much funding it had received but said it was in the "seven-figure range".

Forcar, in a statement on Tuesday, said that as an all-in-one, integrated platform and "super app", Forcar's goal is to digitally transform the automotive aftermarket industry, raise car safety condition standards, and increase industry transparency to safeguard consumers.

Its app is said to manage users’ car information, including warranty information, service reminders, insurance and road tax reminders, ensuring their vehicles are always in the best condition.

"To further protect consumers, Forcar offers a free warranty on all preventive maintenance services provided by their preferred merchants who are committed to maintaining service quality,” it said.

The statement said Forcar also offers installment options through partnerships with local and international financial institutions, enabling users to manage their car-related bills with ease.

"Forcar prioritises car safety and empowers users to take control of their expenses while ensuring their vehicles are properly maintained,” it added.

According to the statement, merchants who join Forcar can also benefit from the integrated system, which provides an efficient way to manage all aspects of their business, including operations, administration, customer relations, and stock management, while increasing sales opportunities.

It said by using Forcar’s Merchant Mall within the app, merchants can source and bulk purchase stock at competitive prices.
