LABUAN: In connection with International Taxi Driver Day, Maxim E-hailing took the opportunity to celebrate its partner-drivers.

A Maxim-organized badminton tournament was held in the city of Labuan in early March.

The contest aimed to strengthen the relationship between partner-drivers and the Maxim team.

It took place at JS Sports Centre, with 16 teams consisting of partner-drivers and 8 teams representing the Maxim employees.

The event also included sharing sessions, which helped everyone get to know each other better and share experiences.

“I enjoyed these activities as one of the ways to relieve stress and escape from traffic jams. I used the chance to get to know the other drivers, and I feel so blessed to have finally met them in person. Before this, we’d only occasionally met on the road and honked at each other. Today, though, we could share experiences and exchange ideas,” says Zulreme Ahmat, a Maxim partner-driver.

In addition to that, the city of Tawau organized a hi-tea session, with a total of 50 partner-drivers participating.

The purposes of this event were bonding, increasing brand awareness, sharing experiences, and showing appreciation to the partner-drivers. There were also other activities held, including a lucky draw.

“Thank you for inviting us to the event, these activities help drivers get connected with the team from Maxim. In the future, it will be easier for drivers to work together, when the bond between the company and the driver is strong,” comments Ismail Ahmad, a Maxim partner-driver.

“Events with drivers participating help us build better relationships. This is our way of reminding people that, apart from focusing on making money, everyone should take good care of their physical and mental health. This is especially important for those who spend a lot of time behind the wheel, fulfilling orders. I think that holding such events is great, and we are planning to do it more,” says Mohd Hazwan, Director of Maxim Malaysia.

The number of orders is increasing day by day with high demand requests from the passengers.

Not only is Maxim focused on e-hailing, but it also offers a wide variety of services, such as courier delivery, towing, jump-start, cargo transportation, and food delivery that are ready to satisfy the client’s daily needs.
