KUALA LUNMPUR: E-Hailing service Maxim recently highlighted its guidance, support, and efficient processes to help new drivers.
In an interview article, the company showcased how it guided e-hailing partner Mohd Shahrizal, who has been driving with Maxim since April 2025 in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
Shahrizal initially signed up for the Taxsee Driver app in early 2025.
At that time, he was unable to access orders as his documentation and legalisation were not yet complete.
The Maxim team reached out to guide him through the requirements for becoming a fully legal e-hailing driver, which included obtaining a PSV (Public Service Vehicle) licence, an E-Hailing Vehicle Permit (EVP) and e-hailing insurance.
Maxim also explained the importance of obtaining the PSV and guided him through every step of the process.
They helped him find a suitable driving school and covered the full PSV cost of about RM250, including the medical check-up.
In total, Maxim provided RM400 in support, credited directly through the Taxsee Driver app as bonuses for decreased commission.
This assistance not only helped him meet all regulatory requirements but also reduced his financial burden, enabling him to become a legal e-hailing driver with ease.
The entire process from initial registration to securing the EVP was completed in under two weeks, a timeframe Shahrizal describes as impressively fast.
He credits Maxim as the quickest and most responsive e-hailing company he has worked with, noting that their physical office in Kuala Lumpur made it even more convenient for him to seek help and clarification whenever needed.
