KUALA LUMPUR: Bermaz, the official distributor of Mazda, has re-introduced the Mazda3 1.5 variant.
Fully-imported, the Mazda3 1.5 is priced on-the-road without insurance at RM118,900 (liftback and sedan).
For colour choices, the Mazda3 1.5 in both Liftback and Sedan is available in the signature Soul Red Crystal, Polymetal Gray, Jet Black, Platinum Quartz and Machine Gray.
It is covered by a five-year or 100,000km warranty (whichever comes first).
The Mazda3 also comes with a five-year free maintenance programme that includes all required maintenance, labour, parts, and lubricants.
The Mazda3 1.5 variant boasts upgraded equipment and features that include a 10.25-inch infotainment system, 7.0-inch multi-info instrument cluster, supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, USB Type-C ports.
The powertrain still remains the same, a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-potter mated to a six-speed automatic with manual mode and paddle-shifters.
For safety, regardless of Liftback or Sedan choice, the Mazda3 1.5 comes with nine airbags, antilock braking system, electronic brakeforce distribution, brake assist, dynamic stability control, traction control, emergency stop signal, hill launch assist.
It also features auto-hold function, automatic door lock, and walk-away lock.
Further bolstering this is Mazda's i-Activsense suite of advanced driver aid systems.
This includes adaptive front lighting system, high beam control, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning system, lane-keep assist system, driver attention alert, front and rear smart brake support with stop and go function, Mazda radar cruise control, and cruising with traffic support.
