Mazda3 and Mazda6 updated for 2023
By CARSIFU | 11 October 2023PETALING JAYA: Bermaz Motor today announced it new product line-up of Mazda models featuring new upgrades, features and styling for its Mazda3 and Mazda6 models.
The 2023 Mazda3 and Mazda6 20th Anniversary Edition will be showcased at the Bermaz Auto Showcase event which will take place from Oct 11-15 at Oval Concourse, 1 Utama Shopping Centre here from 10am to 10pm.
Mazda3
The new Mazda3 has been updated with new features and connectivity enhancements.
It adopts the evolved Kodo design, taking inspiration from Japanese aesthetics; Mazda adopted a “less is more” approach in designing the Mazda3, resulting in a “sleek and elegant” design concept.
The Mazda3 2.0L Liftback and Sedan variants have been enhanced with new connectivity improvements features that come as standard across all the variants, which include Qi wireless charging, USB-C ports located at the centre console and armrest that connect to Android Auto and newly added wireless Apple Carplay, which is accessible via the new 10.25-inch infotainment display screen.
Additionally, the Mazda3 2.0L Ignite Edition now receives an enhanced 12-speaker high-performance Bose sound system, designed and engineered specifically for the unique cabin acoustics to deliver an accurate and lifelike listening experience for its driver and passengers.
In terms of safety features, the new Mazda3 2.0 High and High Plus variants are now equipped with additional i-Activsense safety features such as Cruising & Traffic Support (CTS). These safety features were previously introduced in the 2022 Mazda3 2.0L Ignite Edition.
Available colours are Soul Red Crystal, Machine Gray, Polymetal Gray, Platinum Quartz, Deep Crystal Blue, Jet Black and Snowflake White Pearl, making a total of seven colours available for all Mazda3 2.0L variants.
The new Mazda3 is fully imported from Japan and is available for booking. The selling price starts from RM156,059.00, which includes a 5-year manufacturer warranty and 5-year free maintenance (except the BT-50) according to manufacturer’s standards, including labour, parts and lubricants.
Both manufacturer's warranty and free maintenance have a coverage period of five years and a mileage limit of 100,000km, whichever comes first.
Mazda6
The Mazda6 20th Anniversary Edition celebrates 20 years since the first generation Mazda6 was released in 2002.
The Mazda6 20th Anniversary Edition adds unique styling for both its interior and exterior. It features 20th Anniversary badge on its front fender, 19-inch Bright Metallic Alloy Wheels and Gunmetal radiator grille for a sportier and distinctive aesthetic.
Its interior gets tan coloured leather seats with 20th Anniversary embossed on the front seat headrest, equipped with front ventilation seats, a frameless auto-dimming rearview mirror, a 7-inch multi-info display instrument cluster and rear window sunshade.
The 2023 Mazda6 variants have been enhanced with connectivity improvement features. Wireless charging is now standard across all variants.
The Mazda6 20th Anniversary Edition and Mazda6 2.5L Touring are now equipped with new i-Activsense safety features, which include Front & Rear Smart Brake Support (SBS), Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC) with Stop & Go and Cruising & Traffic Support (CTS).
The Mazda6 comes in Arctic White, Deep Crystal Blue, Jet Black, Machine Gray, Sonic Silver, Soul Red Crystal, Polymetal Gray and newly added colours, Platinum Quartz, Rhodium White Premium and Artisan Red Premium (20 th Anniversary Edition variant only).
The Artisan Red Premium, Mazda’s fourth special colour, was created through Mazda’s unique Takuminuri painting technology.
Takuminuri, which translates to “artisan colouring”, is Mazda’s unique painting technology that reproduces a precise, high-quality paint finish as if applied by the hands of a skilled craftsman.
The combination of colours, highlights, shade and depth, further emphasizes the sheer beauty and quality of the dynamic body shape shown in these three layers.
Artisan Red Premium accentuates the strength and beauty that portrays a fine-grained transparent red that shines brightly with a dominant shade producing a profound depth with richness and rendering a high contrast.
The selling price for the Mazda6 starts from RM180,359.
Warranty terms are the same as the Mazda3.
