McLaren Taipei named 'Global Retailer of the Year 2022'

LONDON: McLaren Taipei has been named as the brand's "Global Retailer of the Year 2022".

Announced at McLaren’s annual Global Retailer Conference at its global headquarters in Woking, UK, the award marks the fourth time that McLaren Taipei – managed by Yun San Motors – has been named Regional Retailer of the Year for Asia Pacific and China and the second time they have been crowned as overall winners of the global title.

For the first time in McLaren Retailer of the Year history, retailers were benchmarked within their sub-regions, driving an additional competitive edge across all 41 territories in which the marque is sold.

This is the seventh year of the McLaren Retailer of the Year awards.

To determine each winner, McLaren Automotive benchmarks multiple areas of business on a monthly basis using a digital scorecard.

Representatives from each of McLaren Automotive’s 102 retailers travelled to its headquarters in Woking, England to attend the company’s Global Retailer Conference between April 24 and 26.

Retailer representatives met with McLaren Automotive’s CEO Michael Leiters for a detailed look at the brand’s future model line-up and business strategy.

As well as being acclaimed as the world’s top McLaren retailer, McLaren Taipei will see their name engraved on the Retailer of the Year trophy which will go on display in the famous McLaren Technology Centre trophy cabinet at the heart of McLaren Automotive alongside trophies from the brand’s 60 years since it was founded in 1963. Regional winners will each receive a Premier Club trophy to display in their showrooms.
