KUALA LUMPUR: Mercedes-Benz Malaysia recently partnered with DC Handal to launch a new electric vehicle (EV) charging hub at Bamboo Hills, Kuala Lumpur.
DC Handal is a Malaysian provider of EV charging infrastructure and energy solutions.
The Bamboo Hills charging hub was delivered in collaboration with Hap Seng Star, one of Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s key retail partners.
Having partnerships already established with leading operators including JomCharge, ChargeEV, Gentari, and P.UP, the Bamboo Hills EV charging hub now becomes the sixth Mercedes-Benz branded charging location in the country.
"With Bamboo Hills, we are accelerating the charge, bringing our electric vehicle owners closer to an era where performance, innovation, and sustainability converge. This collaboration with DC Handal and Hap Seng Star reflects our strategic commitment to enhancing the Mercedes-Benz EV ecosystem in Malaysia,” said Mercedes-Benz Malaysia CEO and president Amanda Zhang.
"This initiative also reflects Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s alignment with the brand’s global Ambition 2039 strategy, which charts the course toward sustainable mobility," she added.

Looking ahead, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia together with its retail partners will continue to expand its charging footprint, with plans to roll out additional locations nationwide by end-2025.
With 11 battery electric vehicle models already introduced locally, including the new Mercedes-Benz G 580 with EQ Technology, the company is ensuring customers have the freedom to choose electrified mobility that best suits their lifestyles.
