KUANTAN: Mercedes-Benz Malaysia now has a new Autohaus facility in Kuantan.
Touted as the largest Autohaus on the East Coast, it is operated by Asbenz Stern Sdn Bhd and is located in Indera Mahkota - a rapidly growing suburb and business hub.
With an initial investment of RM23mil, the new Asbenz Stern Kuantan Autohaus is a 4S (sales, service, spare parts, and spray painting) facility that spans across 63,340 sq ft.
The facility is equipped with 16 work bays that can support scheduled maintenance and perform extensive repair works, among others, and all carried out by Mercedes-Benz-trained and certified technicians.
To support electrified mobility, a 120kW DC charger has been installed and can charge two Mercedes-Benz vehicles simultaneously.

While their vehicles are being serviced, customers are able to enjoy the comforts accorded by the Star Lounge and peruse the Mercedes-Benz Lifestyle Collection.
There is also a 23,565 sq ft show floor that can display up to six Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
“Together with Asbenz Stern, we are proud to bring our ‘Welcome Home’ philosophy to life through a modern and future-ready facility designed around the evolving needs of our customers,” said Mercedes-Benz Cars Malaysia CEO and president (head of region Mercedes-Benz Cars Southeast Asia) Martin Schulz.

“Kuantan has always been an important location for us, and this new Autohaus marks the next step in our journey here. By investing in a purpose-built facility with expanded capabilities, including body and paint services, we are able to serve our customers more efficiently and comprehensively,” said Asbenz Stern managing director Goh Chuan Kiong.
To date, Asbenz Stern has invested RM35mil and operates three additional Autohauses in Kedah, Pahang and Terengganu.
