SERDANG: Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has gathered together its newest internal-combustion, plug-in-hybrid and fully electric vehicles alongside a used car display here.
The marque’s exhibit featured three engineering showpieces: the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance performance hybrid, the all-electric Mercedes-AMG EQE 53 4Matic+ and the C 350 e plug-in hybrid.
The GT 63 pairs a handcrafted 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine with an electric motor to deliver 620kW (843hp) and more than 1,400Nm of torque, accelerating from 0–100kph in 2.9 seconds and reaching 316kph.
The EQE 53 pairs dual electric motors for 460kW (625hp) and 950Nm, achieves 0–100kph in 3.5 seconds, and offers up to 527km of WLTP-rated range; it also features rear-axle steering, the AMG Dynamic Plus package with Race Start and AMG Sound Experience. Top speed has increased to 240kph, up by 20kph.
The C 350 e combines a 1,999cc petrol engine (150kW/204hp, 320Nm) with electric drive for an all-electric range of up to 117km (WLTP), finished in AMG Line trim with Digital Light and Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus.
Complementing the new-model showcase, the Certified Pre-Owned or used car segment displayed vehicles under two years old, each certified to Mercedes-Benz’s stringent standards.
As for financing, Mercedes-Benz has that covered.
The “Young Star Agility+” finance plan offers flexible tenures of one to four years, annual mileage options between 10,000km and 30,000km, lower monthly payments via guaranteed future value, and end-of-term options to settle, extend or return the vehicle.
Additional benefits include MobilityPlus replacement cars during service downtime, up to RM6,400 in insurance support through Star Protect, and up to RM 1,200 in charging credits for EQ-brand models.
Mercedes-Benz Financial Malaysia staff will be on hand to tailor finance and insurance packages, while visitors who reserve any used vehicle at the show will receive a RM2,000 voucher redeemable against merchandise or service at authorised centres.
The used cars available include entry-level A-Class hatchbacks and GLA crossovers to luxury EVs such as the EQA 250, EQE 350+ AMG Line, EQS 580 4MATIC SUV and the S 580 e plug-in-hybrid.
