KUALA LUMPUR: The new Mercedes-Maybach S 580 4Matic Night Series offers bespoke finishes, darkened motifs, and masterful craftsmanship.
It is priced from RM2,404,888 (including 10% sales tax) on the road, without insurance for Peninsular Malaysia.

The S 580 4Matic is powered by a 4.0 litre biturbo V8 petrol engine that delivers 503hp and 700Nm of torque.
There's also a 48-volt mild hybrid system which provides an extra 17 kW and 205 Nm.
With a nine-speed 9G-Tronic automatic and 4Matic all-wheel drive, the S 580 4Matic does the century sprint in 4.8 seconds, onwards to a top speed of 250kph.

Paint finishes include grey, black, and white hues, as well as exclusive two-tone combinations such as onyx black/Mojave silver and Manufaktur opalite white bright/obsidian black.
Meanwhile, rose gold elements within the Digital Light headlights and dark metallic chrome accents create subtle highlights.
There are twin tailpipe trims in dark chrome and black, and the signature Maybach character is reinforced through dark shadow gloss finishes across the exterior.
Further distinction is expressed through illuminated door sills with "MaybachNight Series" lettering, 20-inch Maybach seven-spoke light-alloy wheels in black and dark shadow gloss with integrated aerodynamic elements, and a vehicle key in high-gloss black with dark shadow gloss trim frame.
In the cabin, there is Black with Black Pearl nappa leather upholstery.
The delicate mother-of-pearl effect paired with golden-grey glossy piping enhances the sense of refinement and craftsmanship.
The cabin is further elevated by the "Garnet Glow" colour scheme for the active ambient lighting.
Dark brown open-pore walnut wood Manufaktur trim in a distinctive herringbone pattern adds natural sophistication, while the centre console features a black crystal-look finish .
Finishing touches include centre air vent housings in dark shadow gloss, both at the front and rear.
With its “Black labels and backlights” motto, a mystical start-up animation for the user interface compliments the Night Series colour palette.
