KUALA LUMPUR: SAIC Motor Malaysia, the official distributor of MG in Malaysia, has officially unveiled its highly anticipated all-electric roadster - the Cyberster.
Priced on-the-road without insurance at RM319,900, it comes in four colour options of Dynamic Red, Camden Grey, Inca Yellow and English White.
Warranty is a seven-year or 150,000km coverage which includes an eight-year or 180,000km coverage for the battery pack and eight-year or 160,000km coverage for the drive motor and motor control unit.
Also included is a complimentary 7kW Wallbox Charger and a one-year unlimited charging facility with JomCharge and Auto Charge Function.
This will be particularly useful since the Cyberster provides 503PS and 725Nm of performance - allowing it to sprint from 0 to 100kph in 3.2 seconds and onwards to a top speed of about 200kph.
The 77kWh battery is said to provide the roadster with up to 446km of range and can be recharged via a 144kW DC charger (10% to 80% in 38mins).
With its bold looks and low-slung silhouette, the Cyberster's unique looks comes from its scissor doors, 20-inch wheels, Bose audio system and the brand's Pilot suite of advanced driver assistance systems.
The roadster can be viewed at MG's display at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show 2024 from Dec 5 to 11 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC).
