LONDON: MG Motor UK recently reached an impressive landmark with the sale of its 100,000th electric vehicle (EV).
“We’re proud that MG has played a meaningful role in driving the growth of electric mobility in the UK and supporting the nation’s Net Zero ambitions,” says MG Motor UK commercial director Guy Pigounakis.
“Reaching 100,000 EV sales is a major achievement for our brand."
“As a brand, we retain MG’s essential spirit and a sense of adventure. That means offering our MG4 EV in a bold Volcano Orange, as well as an Xpower model which delivers a thrilling 435PS of power output or designing arrow-shaped rear lights for the flagship Cyberster that incorporates a subtle Union Jack pattern.”

In 2019, MG introduced the first edition of the MG ZS EV - a popular and practical SUV (sport utility vehicle).
More MG EV models have followed including the multiple award-winning MG4 EV hatchback as well as the business friendly MG5 EV estate car.
In the summer of 2023, MG unveiled the UK’s first two-seat EV production convertible.
With a dramatic exterior design created at the company’s London Studio, the Cyberster reconnects MG with its illustrious, sporting past and challenges some perceptions that EVs lack character and driving engagement.

EV concept cars like the MG Cyberster Black and the urban explorer MG Cyber X also strongly underline MG’s creative ambitions to develop a completely new generation of stylish EVs.
The current MG EV range includes the MG4 EV, MGS5 EV, MG IM5, MG IM6 and the flagship MG Cyberster.
MG also offers an extensive range of highly efficient hybrid and petrol models, the MG ZS Hybrid+ SUV has proved to be notably popular with both business and private buyers and was the UK’s best-selling hybrid during the first six months of 2025.
