Michelin Malaysia rolls out three bike tyre models from RM1,020

KUALA LUMPUR: Michelin Malaysia, unveiled three of its latest sport and road range motorcycle tyres.

They are the new Power 6 (RM1,020 - RM2,000), Power GP 2 (RM1,300 - RM1,700) and the Anakee Road (RM1,300 - RM1,700).

The Power 6 tyre is said to be the ultimate choice for track and road riders and takes aim at owners with motorcycles over 300cc that roll on 17-inch wheels.

Grip in wet and dry conditions is also said to have been optimised for agility and sporty handling.

Additionally, durability has been kept particularly in mind.

Taking track performance to another level is the Power GP 2 that is now certified for street use.

The Power GP 2 represents the French tyremaker's pinnacle of tyre engineering and fits 17-inch wheels.

The Anakee Road tyre, with its trail-designed tread pattern, is able to cover all usage for trail motorcycles that use 17 to 21-inch wheels.

Reliability, a connected feel on wet roads and stability in all conditions are the key components for this tyre that can take on both road and off-road adventures.

Designed with a 90:10 ratio for on-road/off-road use, the Anakee Road tyre has also been constructed with comfortable road-going rides in mind.
