Michelin-star chef to open restaurant at Hyundai innovations hub in Singapore

SEOUL/SINGAPORE: A Hyundai Motor subsidiary is working with Michelin-star chef Corey Lee to launch a restaurant in Singapore.

The restaurant named Na Oh will be based at the newly opened Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS).

Na Oh aims to be a cultural hub for Korean cuisine, craft, and design, enhancing Singapore’s culinary scene.

Na Oh means "moving from inside out" in Korean.

Lee, a three-star Michelin chef based in San Francisco, will lead the venture, marking the Korean's first project in South-East Asia.

Na Oh will explore traditional Korean cuisine with a modern twist.

HMGICS will play a central role in Na Oh’s concept, transforming the hub from a conventional automotive facility into a unique hospitality destination.

A key feature will be HMGICS's two-storey vertical smart farm, the world’s first robotics smart farm open to visitors, producing over 30kg of fresh produce daily.

Na Oh will source ingredients from this facility, offering a farm-to-table experience.

Lee's team will deliver "hansik" cuisine, drawing from Korean traditions while collaborating with artisans to provide cultural insights.

Na Oh is set to open to the public in June, promising a unique culinary and cultural experience.
