MUNICH: The new MINI family all-electric models feature unique sound worlds for an immersive driving experience.

These include new driving sounds in the interior, an unmistakable brand sound to distinguish the vehicle as a MINI, jingles for the new MINI Experience Modes, and new sound icons for information and warning functions.

The MINI Experience Modes feature four driving sounds for individual user experience: "Core," "Go Kart," "Timeless," and "Balance."



These sounds acoustically feed back to the driver during acceleration, making the driving experience more "emotional" and conveying an impression of the driving situation.

The default sound world for the new MINI model family is the "Core" driving sound, inspired by Nicolaus Copernicus' heliocentric view of the world.

The MINI "Go Kart" driving sound is designed for sporty driving, featuring pronounced pitch and load curves.



The "Timeless" driving sound combines engine sounds from classic Minis and MINI John Cooper Works GP, creating an acoustic journey through time.

The "Balance" driving sound, originally designed for the MINI Vision Urbanaut, is based on forest sounds, providing relaxation and well-being.



The new MINI family features driving sounds in Experience Modes, activated with a characteristic jingle, and earcons, which serve as distinctive audible symbols to alert occupants to events or information.

Around 30 new sound signals have been designed, including turn indicators, seat-belt warning systems, and Park Distance Control tones.
