KUALA LUMPUR:  Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia recently contributed a Triton 4x4 pick-up truck to the National Cancer Society Malaysia.

The Triton will be used by the group to travel to rural communities, especially those in poor urban areas, and suburban villages around Malaysia who have little or no access to screening facilities.

The society is a non-profit organisation formed in 1966 to provide an extensive range of cancer services and support to people affected by cancer. It is financed entirely by voluntary contributions from the public.

“Over the years, the award-winning Triton pick-up truck has passed many endurance tests and has been put through the harshest road conditions. We hope it will help the National Cancer Society travel to many places and assist as many people as possible,” said Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia CEO Shinya Ikeda.

Present to receive the Triton was National Cancer Society marketing director Yeap Chong Wei.
