KUALA LUMPUR: The Mitsubishi Triton Championship Edition pick-up truck comes in two limited edition models, namely the Triton Athlete and the Triton AT Premium.
The Triton Championship Edition is a special edition inspired by the brand’s Asia Cross Country Rally (AXCR) victory.
Team Mitsubishi Ralliart had won first place in AXCR 2025, held in Thailand from August 8 to 16.
The Triton Athlete and Triton AT Premium Championship Edition are priced at RM169,980 and RM155,980 respectively (on-the-road without insurance).
Customers who book either model will receive an exclusive key fob case cover and a motorsports sticker pack.

Developed to commemorate Mitsubishi Motors’ championship-winning performance at AXCR 2025, the Triton Championship Edition reflects the brand’s strong motorsports heritage and highlights the Triton’s durability, capability, and rally-proven engineering carried into its production models.
Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia says the championship edition models combine enhanced specifications, distinctive styling, and motorsports-inspired elements not available on standard Triton models.
The Triton Athlete is limited to 150 units, and offered exclusively in Jet Black Mica.
Exterior enhancements include distinctive body decals and all-rerrain tyres that not only elevate its muscular stance but also improve grip and confidence across varied driving conditions.
Inside, owners benefit from a nine-inch infotainment system, an all-round monitor that significantly improves visibility and manoeuvring confidence, and championship aesthetic headrest covers inspired by Mitsubishi’s rally heritage.

Meanwhile, the Triton AT Premium is limited to 120 units, and offered exclusively in White Diamond.
It features 18-inch black sports rims, a styling bar, front lower bumper garnish, distinctive body decals and championship aesthetic headrest covers.
The Mitsubishi Triton has a newly developed Hyperpower 4N16 diesel engine that comes in different output specifications to meet varying driving needs.
The high-output version in the Triton Athlete is equipped with a new 2.4-litre two-stage turbocharging system delivering 204PS (150kW) and torque of 470Nm at a lower rev range.
The Triton AT Premium has a 2.4-litre 4N16 Turbo Diesel producing 184PS and torque of 430Nm.
Meanwhile, drivers can easily shift to 4WD mode while driving by using a dial selector.
The Triton Athlete continues to feature Mitsubishi Motors' Super Select 4WD-II, while the other variants are equipped with the Easy Select 4WD system.
