KUALA LUMPUR:  Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia has upgraded the ASX, and a third variant was introduced, priced the lowest of the lot at RM104, 791.87.

The ASX 2WD GL joins ASX 2WD and 4WD, which are priced at RM 112,571.39 and RM125, 040.67 respectively (without insurance, GST inclusive for private registration in Peninsular Malaysia).

The compact SUV now comes with refreshed exterior features for 4WD and 2WD incorporating Daytime Running Lights and Shark Fin Antenna. The ASX 4WD now comes with seven airbags including Dual, Side, Curtains and Knee Airbags and two-toned 17” alloy rims.



Inside, the top two ASX variants (4WD and 2WD) comes with Touch Screen, USB, Bluetooth, Navigation, Virtual Acoustic Positioning System (VAPS) which provides surround sound stage audio, new center console design and piano black door switch panel.

The ASX is powered by a 2.0-litre MIVEC engine with an output of 150 PS and 197 Nm of torque. The enhanced INVECS-III CVT (Continuous Variable Transmission) with Sports Mode now allows better acceleration and fuel efficiency.

The ASX also comes with a new colour called Sporty Blue. Other colours include Titanium Grey, Cool Silver and Solid White. The SUV comes with 5-year warranty package.
